The youngest of King Triton’s daughters and the most defiant, Ariel longs to find out more about the world beyond the sea and, while visiting the surface, falls for the dashing Prince Eric. While mermaids are forbidden to interact with humans, Ariel must follow her heart. “The Little Mermaid” is the beloved story of Ariel, a beautiful and spirited young mermaid with a thirst for adventure. His range is damning, both to him and his enemies, and patience will show you the highest chances for punishing your foes with fiery retribution. Better rangers (Hawkeye, Arthur, etc.) can really give him some trouble from a distance as well.Īll in all, discretion is highly recommened with Ghost Rider. His back H fire attack may keep away dashers (and possibly OTG) but it just isn't quick enough to be relied on to stop some of the quicker aggressors. Also, Rider is left near defenseless against aggressive teleporters (Wesker, Vergil, etc) because of the lag in swinging his chain. That may not be such a bad thing to some, but players who enjoy their 50+ hit combos from single characters may need to look else where. Most all of his chain attacks have heavy knockback, which makes chaining his attacks together without the help of assists near impossible. Rider suffers in a few, pretty serious aspects, though. Also, his jumping S is a multihitter and can also reach with impressive range, and is great for pressuring opponents. Chain of Rebuttal makes a great follow up to that as it bounces opponents off the side of the screen, and can serve as a very productive start to a bread-and-butter combo. Rider is best played from a distance, utilizing his standing H, H combo to really annoy from 2/3rds of the screen away. if.Johnny Blaze brings his brand of vengence to the colorful cast of heroes and villians with a unique style and flair. and the rider has thar same demonic voice. i dont know why some people are ripping on this game sure they used the GOW engine it makes perfect sense, but its done in the mighty marvel style.and its very entertaining…oh, and the rider looks awesome.the flames and details are done really well. you know how to play Ghost rider.so it will feel natural. action packed fun! the first marvel film of the year and its raising hell.(this film is wayy better than daredevil) fast forward to the ghost rider the game based on the movie.all i can say is.awesome! first, its a original story written by the series writers so you are in for a treat… second the graphics are quality playstation 2 fare.one thing though.why didnt they also release this for the playstation 3 and xbox 360? the action is a intense.a high quality “button masher” and the levels where you drive the hell cycle are incredible.for you newbies out there, the ghost riders story is basically put, you are hell’s bounty hunter out to defeat the demons loose in our world.while fighting to save your beloved roxanne(johnnys long time love) but once you make the pact with the devil your soul is his.and you have to become the spirit of vengence at night dishing out justice… the game plays like god of war(only without those annoying mini puzzles) if you ever played g.o.w. it was well cast and the special effects were fantastic…and it had a well written story. There are also execution moves you can do. However, there is no lock-on button, like in God of War, and Ghost Rider’s chain is his main form of attack, and it extends out somewhat like Kratos’ Blades of Chaos/Athena/Exile. Ghost Rider’s shotgun is also in the game, and uses one bar of his Super Mode meter per shot to do decent damage to enemies. For example, there is a ranking system at the end of each level, and a style meter that goes up the more you vary your attacks without taking damage, similar to Devil May Cry, as well as having two meters that build up-one for a Super Mode that lets you finish or heavily damage enemies with Ghost Rider’s famous Penance Stare, and another than does a large area-of-effect blast of damage. When I bought this game a couple of years ago because of liking it when I was younger, I only played for like about 25% of the whole story, so if I have some slight prices of information wrong, not just about the game, but the comics and story, as well as how much it may or may not tie into Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance (2012), then I apologize in advance.Anyway, this game shares similarities with not only Devil May Cry, but also God of War, and plays like those two games combined. I have not played through the entirety of this game in a long time (I used to rent this from a local video store when I was much younger, and it was well over 10 years ago when I did), but I greatly enjoyed it then because I was a huge fan of Devil May Cry 1-3 at the time.
